One of the previous Popes prayed, Lord it is your church, I am going to bed.
What if we don’t take too much credit for successes?
What if we don’t take too much blame for failures?

Jesus seems above the victory of Palm Sunday
Does not identify with the victory
Grace for successes and failures

I am still learning to avoid taking too much blame for failures.
I am always wondering what I might have done differently to have a different result.

A times God's grace has surprised me sowing of redemption amidst my failures.
I am learning to see that the outcomes may prove to be more filled with purpose than success of failure.

I am still learning to be faithful in each moment and to leave the outcome to God.

Day 14 | Discipleship: Matthew 5:13-16

What does it mean to be salt of the earth and light of the world? 13  “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.  14  You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.  15  Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.  16  Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
