This reflection upon the empty tomb as the incremental revelation of the resurrection feels like a fresh and helpful perspective for me.
As I reflect back on my faith journey, I see little incremental resurrections that I may have failed to appreciate fully.
These resurrections began a small seed of faith, believing in something that is not yet seen, that became a flicker of hope.

I am wondering whether the incremental revelation creates space for us to grow in faith and hope in ways that a sudden bold awesome experience of resurrection might not.
Growing Faith and hope are good companions for our spiritual journeys.

Day 14 | Discipleship: Matthew 5:13-16

What does it mean to be salt of the earth and light of the world? 13  “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.  14  You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.  15  Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.  16  Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
