Day 30 | Ascension Sunday - John 16:5-17, Acts 2:1-13, 2 Cor 3:17-18

THE SUSCIPE

Take, Lord, and received all my liberty,
my memory, my understanding,
and my entire will,
All I have and call my own.

You have given all to me.
To you, Lord, I return it.

Everything is yours; do with it what you will.
Give me only your love and your grace,
that is enough for me.

+ THANK YOU FOR THIS JOURNEY TOGETHER +
It is sad to see this retreat come to an end. What a special time it has been with Fr. Mark, St. Ignatius of Loyola and Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for being our guide in such a gentle way. How providential, Lord God, that we would end our retreat as our cities begin opening again after the coronavirus pandemic. Thank you, God for loving us. Lead us out shining your light more brightly than when we entered.

To buy the book: Ascending with Ignatius, visit Word Among Us at...

GOING FORWARD IS OUR FIFTH WEEK.

Day 14 | Discipleship: Matthew 5:13-16

What does it mean to be salt of the earth and light of the world? 13  “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned? It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.  14  You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.  15  Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lampstand, where it gives light to all in the house.  16  Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.
