Day 24 | John 20.11-18, 24-29

Eubie said…
Jesus gives us what we need
Like Thomas we should ask for what we need
Thomas has the boldness to ask for what he needs

What do I need to see and believe in Jesus?
Do I need to let go to see Jesus?
What do I personally need to experience Jesus?

I have no memory of not knowing Christ
I am not sensing a need to see anything to believe in Jesus -
My faith journey continues to be a long walk in the same direction -
I would like an incremental revelation of new calling -
I am trying to knock on our doors to seek out a new revelation of the God’s calling for my life - but none of the doors seem to open when I knock.
God is still present to console me when no doors open
I am thankful that God consoles us personally
I am thankful that God personal consolation gives me a strong sense of being known and being loved.

Day 8 | BEGINNING THE 2nd WEEK: The Life of Christ and Discipleship Matthew 9:35-36

Matthew 9:35-36   New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE) The Compassion of Jesus.   35  Jesus went around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and curing every disease and illness.  36  At the sight of the crowds, his heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned,  like sheep without a shepherd. Reflect on the Trinity and the Incarnation - why did Jesus come?
